Intercessory Prayer Team

Have you ever prayed for someone other than yourself? Have you ever asked someone else to pray for you? If the answer is, “Yes,” then you already know the heart of Intercessory Prayer. To intercede for someone is to speak on behalf of and in support of them. At Epiphany, we have a Prayer Team that wants to lift up your needs to the Lord, and we dedicate ourselves daily to that task.

When you have a prayer request of any kind, simply fill out the “Worship Record Sheet” that you’ll find in your bulletin every Sunday. At the bottom of it is a special place for your prayer along with three options:

1) that your request be given to the PASTOR ONLY,

2) that your request be READ ALOUD during the Prayers of the People, and/or

3) that your request be passed along to the Intercessory Prayer Team for DAILY PRAYER. These requests will be lifted up for 2 weeks. Plrase re-request this prayer, if you would like intercessions to continue for two additional weeks.

Just make a choice according to your needs and rest assured that your prayers will be lifted up.

In addition to the prayers of our members, visitors, and loved ones, the Prayer Team has reached out through prayer for our "sister congregations" in Mission Development, and now for the Southeastern Synod office, including Bishop Julian Gordy and his staff.
