Pre-Marital Counseling Classes
Epiphany members have been invited to attend Sunday School with Kingsway Christian members beginning 9/17/17. Please ask Pastor Monica if you have additional questions. All Sunday School classes meet from 9:15-10:00, and the teachers have assured us that if you leave a few minutes early for Epiphany worship, you won't be the only ones, due to Kingsway's choir practice, etc. The Kingsway faith community is excited to welcome us!
The Discipleship class, led by Ken Glenn, meets every Sunday of the year (age range from 65 to 95, average attendance 10). The fall study is titled, "Covenants With God" and covers the Revised Common Lectionary (texts used for worship each Sunday). From November-Lent, the class will study a book on Jesus' father Joseph by Adam Hamilton, and a study on Death for Spring. Class meets on the 2nd floor of the education wing.
The Bible Odyssey class is led by Garry Wright and meets downstairs, first classroom on the right upon entering the main front doors. This class is primarily composed of members aged 60-up, with up to 15 members; however, there are a few younger members also. The class will study Peter Gomes' book "The Good Book" through September, then plans to conduct a 4-week series on the Reformation.
God Pause Daily Devotion
from Luther Seminary
Each year, Kingsway children and youth make intricate ornaments used to decorate a Christmas tree at the Pink Palace, and they present a Christmas pageant on 12/17. All Epiphany children are invited to participate. Kingsway operates Children's Church during worship, which replaces traditional Sunday School.
Pastor Monica teaches students using a variety of materials including Luther's Small Catechism, Here We Stand curricula, and videos to illustrate key concepts. Seasonal service projects and an adult mentor program combine to make this a rich experience for young people.
Confirmation classes are offered by Pastor Monica. Please contact Pastor Monica for more information or to arrange classes for your child.

ELCA Prayer Ventures
Every month, the ELCA publishes a list of daily prayers for the month. These petitions are offered as guides to prayer for the global, social and outreach ministries of the ELCA, as well as for the needs and circumstances of our neighbors, communities and world. Thank you for your continued prayers for the life and mission of this church.
